I am a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, with degrees from McGill University (B.A., First Class Honours), and Queen’s University (M.A., Ph. D). My Forensic Psychology practice covers three areas - Family Law, Criminal Law, and Employment Law.
Expert Witness Services: I have testified as an expert witness over 400 times since 1985, in the regular courts (King's Bench, formerly Queen's Bench, The Court of Justice (formerly Provincial and Family Courts), labour arbitrations, The National Parole Board, and Human Rights tribunals).
Family Law: I primarily conduct risk and mental health assessments, provide parent coaching, and litigation support. I am an arbitrator, mediator, and parent coordinator. I assist families experiencing high conflict and estrangement. I conduct PN7 assessments. I do not conduct PN8 assessments.
Criminal Law: I conduct risk assessments, pre-trial assessments, and mental health assessments.
Employment Law: I conduct risk assessments, fitness to work assessments, mental health assessments, threat assessments, and offer consultation to employers and unions about all areas of mental health relating to the workplace.
Litigation Support: I will review and critique the reports and work of mental health professionals.
Professional Statement: Whether assessments or litigation support, I will always strive to be fair and unbiased.
